Dr. Joseph Abano is a licensed physical therapist and the founder of Abano Therapy, a physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic in North Canton, Ohio. With over four years of clinical experience, Dr. Abano is passionate about helping patients move better, recover faster, and get back to doing what they love whether that’s returning to sport, work, or everyday life pain-free.
Dr. Abano takes a hands-on, individualized approach to care, combining evidence-based treatment with a deep interest in advanced techniques like Ultrasound (US) imaging, US guided dry needling with electrical dry needling, and high level functional therapy. He has a particular focus on sports-related injuries, working with active patients in racquet sports like tennis and pickleball, as well as golf, helping them prevent injury and perform at their best.
